Thus, exploring it by bike is one of the greatest pleasures one can enjoy when visiting; not only for practising diverse and sustainable tourism but also because the city, almost flat, has more than 44 kilometres of bike lanes. Moreover, M\u00e1laga is also a city with a vast array of museums, so how about a day of museums by bike? The museums we are going to suggest have <a href=\"https:\/\/sig.malaga.eu\/territorio\/callejero\/?gplayers=aparcamiento-bicicleta&amp;gp=o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bike parking nearby (here&#8217;s a map)<\/a> and, of course, the rental company usually includes a helmet and bike lock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lets_get_started\"><\/span><strong>Let&#8217;s get started!<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We begin next to the port. On c\/ Juan Peralta, 2, there&#8217;s a bike parking area and, two minutes away, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museosdeandalucia.es\/web\/museodemalaga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museo de la Aduana<\/a>. It opens at 9 in the morning, making it perfect to start the day. In it, you&#8217;ll find a fantastic collection of paintings, sculptures, and archaeological pieces totalling around 18,000 items. Second stop. On c\/ Cervantes, 13, you can park your bike: five minutes away on foot is the <a href=\"https:\/\/centrepompidou-malaga.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre Pompidou M\u00e1laga<\/a>. It&#8217;s worth visiting not only for its avant-garde exhibitions but also for the building itself, topped by a colourful cube. It opens at 11, so if you have some time to spare, you can enjoy a coffee in any of the magnificent nearby caf\u00e9s and terraces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Next_stop_CAC_Malaga\"><\/span><strong>Next stop: CAC M\u00e1laga<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We head west, parallel to the coast. Next to the Puente del Perchel, on avenida del Comandante Ben\u00edtez, you can park your bike again to visit <a href=\"https:\/\/cacmalaga.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CAC M\u00e1laga<\/a>, a former wholesale market by the Guadalmedina, where lovers of the most avant-garde art will also have a great time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"But_well_need_to_eat\"><\/span><strong>But we\u2019ll need to eat!<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviously, a day of museums is tiring, especially if you&#8217;re cycling. The city&#8217;s gastronomic offerings are vast, so if you get hungry or thirsty, you&#8217;ll find a range of restaurants and bars near any of these museums to recharge your batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Some_considerations\"><\/span><strong>Some considerations<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you enjoy the experience of staying in a <a href=\"https:\/\/huespeding.com\/\">Huespeding<\/a> flat on <a href=\"https:\/\/bookonline.pro\/es\/property\/377905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calle Jinetes 2<\/a>, in the historic centre, there are other really interesting museums such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museopicassomalaga.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Picasso Museum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/museocasanatalpicasso.malaga.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Picasso Birthplace Museum<\/a>, just 400 metres apart. You can start your route there and walk down to the Museo de la Aduana. It will take you about five minutes.
